Fredericka (Rikki)'s Story
The last 6 months have been the best of my post graduate life--I am happy and in the best emotional state I can ever remember being in. I finally came to the conclusion that I was not responsible for others did TO me--only with what I did or didn't do about it. By brooding about it, all I was doing was giving them control over more of my life, and I am still too bull headed to do that. In my heart, I am still 16 years old, looking forward to what the future may have in store. neck--actually, I think through my mouth, cause there are no scars-I could be paralyzed from there down! I consider myself very fortunate--God must have had an angel watching over me especially closely that day. I can't walk as far as I used to, in case my legs buckle, but I can put on Jan and dean and the Beach boys and bop around my living room.--who is to say that is not an improvement? I've heard it said that some people look at a glass and say it is half full--some look at it and say it is half empty. I've got 'em all beat--I put it in a smaller glass --and it's brimming over!!
